Computer Terms: What Is "Social Engineering"?

Social Engineering is to get important information such as password to peep or deceive people. If management of information is defective, people could easily let out their secrets. It is also called social hooking. Moreover, it can be used to get individual information. They use phone and give their name classmates or relative, and get address and phone number. More worse, someone use themselves as delivery service, and lies that they lost their way and get correct information of address. Nowadays, it is used to get not only password but also credit card’s number like “ore-ore sagi” that is famous in Japan. So, it is important to make complex password, and change regularly as possible. And do not be deceived.
